I spent my lunch hour prowling around for a suitable Spring subject to try my new marco capable lens on, I'd never realised just how interesting leaf buds can be, or how difficult macro can be (this is my first attempt in this area). This was a Horse Chestnut bud I'd noticed 2 days earlier, the tree was on a bank making the bud accessible where normally it would be 15ft in the air
